
Cabo de Gata Natural Park
The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Nijar is the first sea-land Park of Andalusia, Spain.
This park is of volcanic origin and the space marine-largest land surface and ecological relevance of all the European Western Mediterranean Sea.
With one of the most beautiful coastlines and ecological wealth of the western Mediterranean and an extension of 38.000 ha, which is necessary to add a strip of sea a mile wide (12.000 ha), the Natural Park Cabo de Gata has turned to tourism in one of the natural jewels of Almeria, Andalusia in Spain.
Along the coast have preserved fortresses and watchtowers as the Torre de San Pedro, the fortress of San Ramon, San Felipe and many other.
Cape Níjar with coves, sand dunes, pristine beaches, towering cliffs and sea populations of incalculable wealth.
